About the event
High-level Plan: 5 days
Day 1: Arrive at the South Rim and spend night in hotel on South Rim Village
Day 2: Hike to Bright Angel campground via South Kaibab Trail - about 7 miles and 4,000 feet down. Optional side hikes including exploring the Phantom Ranch area. Maybe Ribbons Falls.
Day 3: Pack up and hike up Bright Angel to Havasupai Garden Campground - about 5 miles and 2,500 feet up. Optional side hikes including Plateau Point
Day 4: Pack up and hike back up to South Rim Village via Bright Angel - about 5 miles and 3,000 feet up. Celebratory dinner and spend night at South Rim
Day 5: To airport (but the trip might be shortened or lengthened depending on flight times and other add on side trips)
